With influences like Hiatus Kaiyote, Jimi Hendrix and Erykah Badu, London based 5-piece Prime Panda add their own twists to the buzzing UK neo soul scene. Expect jazz-infused chords, fat rhythms, powerful vocals with trippy and chaotic soundscapes. In particular, their live set takes the audience on a journey from silky soulful sounds to a psychedelic and chaotic onslaught. 

Their latest release Beyond the Sun has begun to attract some serious attention with independent sector champion Trust the Doc describing it as ‘a new wave of acid jazz’ and Glasgow-based Podcart stating it is ‘bringing new meaning to psychedelia and neo soul’. Building on this success Prime Panda continue to explore new sounds with a suite of new music planned for 2021.
